Waiting to board Delta Flight 5290 for Detroit

After arriving in Detroit I'll pick up my rental car and drive up to Toronto for the Canadian Outdoor Farm Show that starts tomorrow.

Chiefs won their first regular game of the season

It was a great first half with Chiefs scoring 3 touchdowns and Chargers 1 so at halftime the score was 21-7 for the Chiefs. Then the Charger scored another touchdown in the 3rd quarter making the score 21-14 for the Chiefs. When less than a minute was left of the game the Chargers only had 5 yards to go for a touchdown but couldn't score so the Chiefs got the ball back with only 33 seconds left which meant they won their first Monday Night Game since 2004, and they did that against last year AFC West Champions. Go Chiefs!!!!

Time to vote

Today we'll go down to our consulate in Kansas and vote for riksdagen. We have the possibility to vote at the consulate this week and next. Last night Isabelle and I watched the game between the Chiefs and Packers which Chiefs won. So during preseason the Chiefs lost three games and won one. Not that it really matter but it is always nice to win a game even if it doesn't count until the regular season. Isabelle will go to Football tonight as well, her school team is playing and she and a friend wants to go, so I guess Sandra or myself will have to drive them to the game. Can't wait for Isabelle to get her license so that she can drive by herself ;)

This weekend is Labor Day weekend, usually considered last weekend of the summer. We have Monday of from work and it is also the last day for the pool to be open this season. After this weekend if we want to swim we'll have to go to a lake.
